Suspect At Large After 20-Year-Old Injured In Long Island Shooting

A 20-year-old man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound after being found in the mid-afternoon at a Long Island gas station.

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that happened shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 in the back of the BP gas station on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon.

Police said that the department received a 911 call of a man who was shot at the gas station. 

Upon arrival, investigators located the 20-year-old victim, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
